Privacy Policy

Your trust matters to us. Here is how AI Murmur handles personal information when you use our image-to-video features.

Effective date April 14, 2026
📖

Introduction

Welcome to AI Murmur (the “App”). AI Murmur is an AI-powered application focused on image-to-video generation: you upload a still image, and our system produces a video based on that input. These capabilities are referred to collectively as the “Services.”

Safeguarding your privacy is central to what we do. We treat personal data with care and collect, process, or use it only where appropriate and, when required, with your consent.

Please read carefully: By installing, opening, or continuing to use the App, you confirm that you have reviewed this Privacy Policy and agree to it. This document describes what we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, what choices and rights you have, and the steps we take to protect your information.

Our Principles

To stay accountable to you, we follow these practices:

We tell you what we collect and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before using or sharing your personal information
We describe the purposes of processing in plain language
We limit collection to what is reasonably needed for those purposes
We use data for the purposes we disclose, or as you authorize, or as law requires
We work to keep personal data accurate and current when we rely on it
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards
We aim to be clear about our practices and update this policy when material changes occur
Where applicable law grants you access or correction rights, we respond in line with those rules
We welcome questions and feedback about how we handle data
🎬

Image & Video Data

What media does the App process?

To generate a video from your upload, we process the image file you provide so our models can interpret visual content (for example, subjects, composition, and motion-related cues) and produce the output video. We do not retain your source images indefinitely for this core pipeline. After processing completes, originals are removed from our servers in line with our retention rules below.

Facial information and likeness

Uploaded images may contain faces or other appearance-related information that qualifies as sensitive personal data in many jurisdictions. The following commitments apply:

No retained biometric templates: Persistent face templates (including embeddings) are not stored for subsequent use; face-related data is processed only during the temporary execution of the applicable generation task.
Purpose limitation: Uploads are processed solely to generate the requested video output. They are not used for unrelated profiling or facially targeted advertising.
Deletion following delivery: Original uploads and temporary processing copies are removed from active systems after the generation task completes, except where a longer period is required for security, legal compliance, or troubleshooting; backup systems may reflect deletion after a reasonable technical interval.
No model training on user likeness: Photos and videos are not used to train, fine-tune, or improve models in a manner that incorporates the user’s likeness or identity.
No third-party sharing: Your uploaded images, generated videos, and facial or likeness-related data from this feature are not shared with third parties.

Why is this information needed?

Image-to-video generation requires analysis of the submitted image. Processing proceeds approximately as follows:

1

The image is transmitted from the user’s device to our processing environment.

2

Systems perform inference to generate a video from the image in accordance with the Service configuration.

3

The output video is returned to the user’s device or made available for download, subject to product implementation.

4

While a job runs, files may be held temporarily in our secure processing environment. They are deleted after processing finishes except where a longer period is required for security, legal compliance, or troubleshooting as described elsewhere in this policy.

1

Policy Scope

This Privacy Policy covers the App, related websites or landing pages we operate, in-app experiences, and other offerings we label as part of AI Murmur. For brevity we call them the “Services.” We link to this policy where it applies.

If a specific feature publishes a separate privacy notice, that notice governs that feature to the extent it conflicts with this document.

2

💾

Storage

With your permission, reading or saving files so outputs can be stored locally when you choose to save them.

3

Cookies and Similar Technologies

On web properties we may use cookies, pixels, and related technologies.

Cookies in short: Small files or storage entries that remember preferences, support sign-in, measure traffic, and help evaluate whether marketing is effective.

Browsers let you clear or block cookies; doing so can limit some features.

Analytics vendors may receive aggregated statistics that do not identify you individually.

Advertising partners may use their own identifiers. “Do Not Track” is not universally standardized; we may not respond to every DNT signal.

5

Information Sharing

Images and videos you upload for image-to-video generation, and outputs produced for you, are not shared with third parties. Other information may be disclosed where necessary to operate AI Murmur, to comply with applicable law, or where you have directed or consented to disclosure. The principal categories are described below.

1. With other users

Information that you voluntarily make available through the Services (including content visible to other users) may be accessed by those recipients. Subsequent use or redisclosure by recipients is not subject to our control. Users should exercise discretion regarding the information they publish.

2. With service providers and partners

Third parties are engaged to operate and improve the Services, including for hosting and maintenance, analytics, customer support, marketing and advertising measurement, payment processing, and security.

Limited information may be disclosed to partners involved in promoting the App, including in hashed or aggregated form that does not directly identify individuals. Service providers are assessed prior to engagement and are bound by confidentiality and processing obligations limiting use of information to the provision of services to us.

3. With affiliates

Entities under common control with AI Murmur may receive information for processing on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions, including for hosting, customer support, financial operations, fraud prevention, and service analytics. Data may also be shared for compliance, audit, consolidated reporting, or enforcement of our terms across related offerings.

4. For legal requirements

Information may be disclosed where reasonably necessary to: (i) comply with legal process (including court orders, subpoenas, or governmental requests); (ii) cooperate with law enforcement as permitted by law; or (iii) protect the safety of any person.

5. For business transfers

In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, insolvency proceeding, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of the transaction. Any successor will be required to treat information consistently with this policy or users will be notified as required by applicable law.

6. To protect rights and the Service

Information may be disclosed where necessary to mitigate liability in actual or threatened proceedings; to protect the rights of AI Murmur, users, or third parties; to enforce contractual terms; or to investigate unlawful conduct, fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

7. With your consent or at your request

Disclosure may occur where the user requests it or provides consent for a specified processing purpose. Non-personal or de-identified information, and in certain circumstances personal information in hashed or non-human-readable form, may be used or disclosed for analytics or advertising measurement as described in this section.

6

Cross-Border Data Transfers

Our infrastructure and partners may be located in countries other than yours (including the United States). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

7

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Request a copy of your personal data
  • Ask for correction, deletion, or restriction of processing
  • Receive certain data in a portable format and have it sent to another controller where technically feasible
  • Object to certain processing, including direct marketing

Limits: Rights are not absolute. We may refuse requests that compromise others’ privacy, break the law, or require retention for legitimate legal reasons.

To exercise rights, contact us using the details at the end of this policy. EU users may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

8

Data Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including:

  • Account records: While your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward
  • Marketing: Until you opt out, plus a short window to honor your choice
  • Transactions & legal: Longer where contracts, tax, or dispute rules require

Deletion may not be instantaneous across every backup system; we design processes to remove or anonymize data over time.

9

Information Security

We implement safeguards appropriate to the risk, including access controls and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you believe your account is compromised, notify us promptly at [email protected].

10

Children's Privacy

If you are not an adult under your local law, use the Services only with a parent or guardian’s involvement. We encourage guardians to review this policy with minors.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the age required in your jurisdiction) for targeted marketing, and we do not direct the Service to young children.

If we learn we have collected such data without proper consent, we will delete it. Contact us at [email protected] if you believe a child has provided information improperly.

11

Refund Policy

Before writing to [email protected] about a refund, confirm whether your case is eligible. The following are typically not eligible:

  • More than 7 days have passed since the original charge
  • Dissatisfaction with creative output style or subjective quality when the Service functioned as described

  • Simple change of mind after purchase
  • Subscription renewals canceled late for personal reasons when renewal notices were provided and cancellation was available in advance
  • Technical issues where you decline reasonable troubleshooting steps with support
